MC Mong cheers for IZ*ONE's new song "It's Exciting to Give a Song to Someone"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Seulgi Kim] Rapper MC Mong showed support for the idol group IZ*ONE's new song.

On the 17th, MC Mong posted on his Instagram, "I get excited when I give a song to someone. This is my life," along with a photo of IZ*ONE's album jacket.

MC Mong participated in composing the twelfth track, "Open Your Eyes," on IZ*ONE's new album 'BLOOM*IZ'.

He used another pseudonym, "Black Edition," on this album and was listed as a composer.

MC Mong's agency, Million Market, explained, "Hundreds of song requests were made to IZ*ONE, and after a blind monitor process, MC Mong's song was included in the new album."

IZ*ONE halted their activities last November while preparing for their first full-length album release after their debut program 'Produce 48' was embroiled in vote manipulation allegations.

MC Mong returned last November with an album after suspending activities due to controversy over evading military service. Since his comeback, he has had a verbal exchange with netizens on social networking services (SNS).
