[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seong-yeol] On Tuesday the 18th, snow will fall mainly in Chungnam, Jeolla, and Jeju until the morning, with temperatures expected to rise from the afternoon.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, on the 18th, the entire country will gradually clear up from the morning due to the influence of high pressure located over central China.

In most areas including Seoul, northern Gyeonggi, inland Gyeongsang, and Yeongseo in Gangwon, the snow will stop by the night of the 17th, but heavy snowfall of 5 to 10 cm is expected until 9 a.m. on the 18th, mainly in Chungnam and Jeolla provinces.

Expected snowfall amounts are 20 to 50 cm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo, 10 to 30 cm for mountainous areas of Jeju, and 5 to 10 cm for Chungnam, Jeolla, and Jeju.

Morning low temperatures are expected to be △Seoul -8°C △Daejeon -6°C △Daegu -3°C △Busan -4°C △Jeonju -6°C △Gwangju -1°C △Cheongju -6°C △Chuncheon -10°C △Gangneung -4°C △Jeju 3°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo -1°C △Baengnyeongdo -3°C.

Daytime high temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 4°C △Daejeon 6°C △Daegu 7°C △Busan 9°C △Jeonju 5°C △Gwangju 6°C △Cheongju 5°C △Chuncheon 5°C △Gangneung 8°C △Jeju 7°C △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 5°C △Baengnyeongdo 4°C.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and clean air conditions.
