[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Shin Jeong-hoon, the Democratic Party of Korea preliminary candidate for the National Assembly member of Jeonnam Naju·Hwasun, announced on the 17th that he would introduce a 'Brain Food' pilot city in Naju·Hwasun.
Brain Food contains ingredients that promote smooth brain activity and helps improve memory, concentration, and more.
Shin Jeong-hoon's Brain Food pilot city is inspired by British food nutritionist Dr. Patrick Holford's claim that the human brain is determined by the food eaten during the growth period.
In other words, eating Brain Food such as fruits and vegetables five times a day can greatly contribute to improving cognitive abilities such as thinking skills.
When Shin Jeong-hoon served as mayor of Naju in 2003, he created the nation's first eco-friendly agricultural products school meal program.
The school meal system that started in Naju became a nationwide free meal system, becoming an opportunity to change Korea's meal system.
In this way, the school meal season 2 created by on-site imagination aims to create a new world through food by making Brain Food pilot cities that provide health to our children and increase income for farmers.
Shin Jeong-hoon said, "I will establish Brain Food pilot cities in Naju, the number one place for eco-friendly meals in Korea, and Hwasun, the number one place for local food in Korea," adding, "I will lead the nationwide school meal market with Brain Food agricultural products from Hwasun and Naju."
