Daegu Office of Education to Introduce Nationwide for the First Time from New Semester

This service will be provided to the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education starting this new semester.

By using the Teacher Manager Service developed by HanTong, teachers can communicate smoothly with parents without revealing their personal mobile phone numbers. For example, when Teacher A contacts a parent (by call or text) using their personal mobile phone, the direct classroom landline phone number assigned to Teacher A’s school will be displayed. The mobile phone number is blocked from exposure. Additionally, when parents call the displayed landline number, the teacher can communicate with them in real time via their personal mobile phone. The Teacher Manager Service operates by adding communication functions for educators to the KT Call Manager platform.

Recently, in the education sector, the need to protect teachers’ privacy has emerged due to indiscriminate mobile phone contacts, exposure on personal SNS, and infringements on teachers’ rights. Accordingly, the ‘Teacher Manager Service’ is expected to contribute to smooth communication with students while preventing the exposure of teachers’ personal privacy.

In addition, this service offers features such as ▲management of phone numbers for parents and others ▲voice notifications of work status (during class, after class, etc.) ▲call forwarding. The service is available simply by downloading the program without installing separate equipment. It is priced at 4,000 KRW per line per month (excluding VAT), the same as the existing Call Manager fee structure, with discounts ranging from a minimum of 10% to a maximum of 60% depending on the number of lines.
