Yeonggwang-gun and National Naju Museum Hold Special Exhibition... Also Sign Business Agreement


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) and the National Naju Museum announced on the 17th that they signed a business agreement on the 12th at the county office to hold a special exhibition titled "Yeonggwang" and publish a catalog.


The signing ceremony was attended by Governor Kim Jun-seong, Eun Hwasu, Director of the National Naju Museum, and several related organization officials, who shared their commitment to the successful hosting of the special exhibition.


The special exhibition will collect data and conduct research from next month until August, and will be held for about three months starting in September at the first-floor planning exhibition hall of the National Naju Museum.


The exhibition plans to present academic achievements that comprehensively organize the county’s history and culture from prehistoric times to the present, while also using digital videos, maps, and other media to create an exhibition that anyone can easily enjoy.


Simultaneously with the special exhibition, a catalog covering all of the county’s cultural assets will be published, and during the exhibition period, lectures and field trip programs linked to the special exhibition will also be operated.


Governor Kim Jun-seong said, “I am pleased to hold a special exhibition that can promote our history and culture,” and added, “I hope this project will greatly help not only the residents but also the entire nation to understand the county’s history and culture.”
