Home Cleaning Platform 'Cheongso Yeonguso' Surpasses 20,000 Cleaning Managers

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Saenghwal Research Institute (CEO Yeon Hyun-joo) announced on the 17th that the number of cleaning managers for the home cleaning service 'Cheongso Yeonguso' has surpassed 20,000. The number of users is rapidly increasing by 20% monthly on average, and the reuse rate also exceeds 85%.

Cheongso Yeonguso is a service that transfers the existing housekeeper intermediary service to an IT platform, allowing customers and cleaning managers to conveniently search, book, and manage through a mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the app). Cheongso Yeonguso operates in major metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Incheon, Ilsan, Gimpo, Namyangju, Hanam, Yongin, Suwon, Seongnam, Uijeongbu, and Gwacheon, with the number of active cleaning managers increasing by an average of 15% monthly. Among the total 20,000 registered managers, 92% are Korean, and the remaining 8% are Chinese-Korean residents with verified identities and experience.

Cheongso Yeonguso hires cleaning managers through a total of three rigorous screening processes. Job seekers must pass ▲submission of ID and documents ▲100% face-to-face interview ▲completion of home cleaning training operated independently to be eligible for activity. In particular, Chinese-Korean applicants are selected only if their Korean residency period, experience, and legal visa status are verified to ensure reliable identities.

Cheongso Yeonguso provides a performance bonus of 100,000 KRW for cleaning managers working over 130 hours per month and additional hourly wages for regular service visits exceeding eight times. It also leads efforts to improve working conditions by supporting flu vaccinations and giving holiday gifts. The top 10% of cleaning managers earn an average monthly income of 3.07 million KRW.

Yeon Hyun-joo, CEO of Saenghwal Research Institute, said, "We will continue to focus on the overall employment, work environment, and treatment of cleaning managers and strive to create jobs for middle-aged and career-interrupted women." She added, "Through systematic education and system management, we will provide differentiated premium services unique to Cheongso Yeonguso."
