Rescape Hotel Wins Grand Prize in Website Category at 'IF Design Award 2020'

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] The hotel ‘L’Escape’ announced on the 17th that it won the main prize in the website category at the German international design competition ‘IF Design Award 2020.’

The ‘IF Design Award’ is one of the global design awards organized by the International Forum in Germany since 1953, and is considered one of the world’s top three design awards alongside the United States’ ‘IDEA Design Award’ and Germany’s ‘Red Dot Design Award.’

Since its opening in July 2018, L’Escape has been carrying out a website renewal project prioritizing emotional information delivery and user-centered convenience for hotel room and restaurant customers as well as membership clients.

As a result, it became the first in the domestic hotel industry to win a global design award in the website category. Among all entries worldwide, only 17 companies won the main prize in the website category.

The newly renewed L’Escape website reflects the unique identity of the L’Escape hotel, designed by the master of boutique hotel interiors, Jaques Garcia. Additionally, it significantly enhanced user convenience with an intuitive and fast process for online reservation services and information searches.

Meanwhile, to celebrate winning the main prize in the communication website category of the design award, L’Escape Hotel will run a promotion until the 31st of next month.

Customers who book rooms through the hotel website will receive a 30,000 KRW food and beverage voucher usable at restaurants such as Paledessin and Le Salon during their stay, and if the same customer rebooks within June, they will be given a breakfast voucher for two at La Mangeoire worth approximately 60,000 KRW.
