Seven Eleven introduced a total of three one-hand snack products under its private brand Seven Select: 'Slim Hot Gangjeong', 'Slim Haessibol', and 'Slim New Jjang'. Slim Hot Gangjeong has a chicken gangjeong flavor, Slim Haessibol is a squid snack containing sunflower seeds, and Slim New Jjang features a sweet taste with a subtle cinnamon aroma.
These products are made thinner and longer than existing products so they can be held and eaten with one hand. There is no need to put your hand inside the bag to take out the snack, preventing crumbs from sticking to your hand and making it easy to eat in one bite. Their small size and capacity also make them convenient to carry and store.
Attention was paid to the fact that as more people do not let go of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs, the popularity of one-hand snack products is increasing. In fact, Seven Eleven's sales of one-hand snack products from October to December last year increased by 45.2% compared to the third quarter (July to September). Sales from the 1st to the 12th of this month increased by 18.4% compared to the previous month. Related products have also expanded from one type in March last year to 14 types already.
