In the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the morning of the 11th (Korean time), she earned 1.14 points, climbing 96 spots from 191st place last week. On the 9th, at the ISPS Handa Big Open (total prize money $1.1 million) of the LPGA Tour held at the Thirteenth Beach Golf Links Beach Course (par 72) in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, she defeated Choi Hye-jin (21) and Yoo So-yeon (30) in an extended playoff battle. This marks her third career win, her first in 6 years and 7 months since the Manulife Financial Classic in July 2013.

Park Sung-hyun (27) is 2nd with 5.99 points, Nelly Korda (USA) 3rd with 5.94 points, Hataoka Nasa (Japan) 4th with 5.57 points, and Danielle Kang (USA) 5th with 5.55 points, with no changes in the top ranks. South Korea's Kim Sei-young (27) is 6th with 5.21 points, Lee Jeong-eun 6 (24) 9th with 4.87 points, Kim Hyo-joo (25) 12th with 4.09 points, Park In-bee (32) 17th with 3.71 points, and Big Open runner-up Yoo So-yeon (30) is positioned 18th with 3.62 points.
