[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Choi Kyung-hwan, leader of the Alternative New Party, stated on the 10th regarding the integration with the Bareunmirae Party and the Party for Democracy and Peace, "The parties united for the third zone integration are not rushing the integration because they need money," and added, "Please do not interpret it as if they are hastily forming a negotiation group because they need funds."

At the joint meeting of the Supreme Council members and National Assembly members held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building on the same day, Leader Choi said, "The leading efforts of the Alternative New Party for the third zone integration are being met with responses from each party, and the integration is bearing fruit."

Leader Choi emphasized, "Integration requires relinquishing all vested interests and clearly defining a reform identity," and added, "The integration process must gain national consent."

Leader Choi stated, "We must complete the formation of the integration promotion committee of the three parties, agree on the party name and leadership composition, and complete the merger," and said, "At the point when the divided third zone is overcome and the integrated third zone begins, I ask everyone to participate with the mindset of becoming a grain of sand contributing to the whole."
