Professor Ihwa Seong of Hanbat National University Receives Minister of SMEs and Startups Award

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Hanbat National University announced on the 9th that Professor Lee Hwa-sung of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering was selected as the '2019 Excellent Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Expert' and will receive the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award.

Professor Lee was recognized for his achievements in carrying out the project "Development of a Small-Scale Polyethylene Coating Equipment Capable of Coating Moisture-Containing Objects" with the participating company Mbodytech Co., Ltd., resulting in 4 patent applications, 1 patent registration, and the creation of 6 jobs.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the "2020 Korea Industry-Academia-Research Association General Meeting" at the end of this month.
