[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] Yoo Subin from 'Crash Landing on You' parodied the hermit crab with Choi Jiwoo, bringing laughter.
In the 13th episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Crash Landing on You,' which aired on the afternoon of the 8th, Yoon Se-ri (played by Son Ye-jin) advised the five North Korean characters to change their style by showing them cards. Shortly after, Yoon Se-ri applied a face pack on Kim Jumeok's (played by Yoo Subin) face and asked him to prepare for an errand. She especially emphasized that he should dress stylishly when going on the errand.
Unaware of the reason, Kim Jumeok went to the place Yoon Se-ri instructed and could not hide his joy and surprise upon seeing Choi Jiwoo. His figure hiding behind a pillar out of happiness evoked both sympathy and laughter at the same time.
Meeting Kim Jumeok, Choi Jiwoo said, "Se-ri usually doesn't make such requests," and added, "I heard that among the younger siblings she really cherishes, you are one of them, and she came from very far away to see you." She then added, "If you have anything you want to say, say it."
In response, Kim Jumeok recited a famous line from the drama 'Stairway to Heaven,' starring Choi Jiwoo and Kwon Sang-woo: "Loving people are meant to meet. No matter how far the journey is." Then Choi Jiwoo replied, "In the end, they come back," and eventually parodied Kwon Sang-woo's hermit crab scene (covering one eye with a hat while closing the other), which brought laughter.
The tvN drama 'Crash Landing on You' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.
