The Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) announced on the 6th that "Ahn Sung-ki has been appointed as a KPGA ambassador." He will participate in KPGA events such as pro-am tournaments, various charity events, videos, and printed materials. Ahn Sung-ki, who said, "It is an honor to serve as the KPGA ambassador representing our country," added, "Golf has a unique charm similar to our lives," and expressed his determination to "work hard to widely promote golf and KPGA."

KPGA Chairman Koo Ja-chul stated, "The image of Mr. Ahn Sung-ki, who shows a stable and trustworthy presence to the public, aligns perfectly with the direction KPGA aims for," and said, "We will carry out various activities for KPGA together with Mr. Ahn Sung-ki." Known as the 'National Actor' for his familiar image on screen and television, Ahn Sung-ki currently serves as a goodwill ambassador for the UNICEF Korea Committee and chairman of the Shin Young-kyun Arts and Culture Foundation.
