Recently, a well-known domestic delivery service company was acquired at a price exceeding expectations, highlighting the limitless growth potential of delivery services. As household types change, such as single-person households and dual-income families, and as people continue to refrain from going out due to fine dust and viruses, delivery services are emerging as an essential survival strategy in the dining industry.
In line with this trend, the charcoal chicken specialty franchise ‘Hulalala Sutbul Chicken’ has officially introduced delivery services.
With increasing demand from consumers who want delivery services rather than just using the on-site dining concept of the hof brand, delivery services have been introduced and will be gradually expanded to stores nationwide. The delivery service has signed B2B contracts with various delivery platforms (delivery apps) such as Yogiyo, Wemakeprice O, and Coupang Eats to provide smooth service.
Hulalala Sutbul Chicken’s barbecue chicken is grilled using 100% domestically produced charcoal white coal, resulting in a chicken that is lean and tender with the oil fully drained. With the full-scale launch of delivery services, many consumers are responding positively as they can now enjoy charcoal barbecue at home.
A representative of the charcoal chicken specialty franchise Hulalala Sutbul Chicken stated, “We expect an increase in order volume as we fully launch delivery services in response to delivery demand. Since the second half of last year, we have been developing a small-scale delivery-type store concept and increasing the number of stores focusing on delivery sales, so in the future, customers will be able to easily enjoy Hulalala Sutbul Chicken at home.”
Meanwhile, ‘Hulalala Sutbul Chicken’ is a franchise brand that has been selling charcoal barbecue chicken for 24 years since opening its first directly managed store in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province in 1997. Its signature menu includes ‘Charcoal Hot Barbecue,’ which uses a uniquely developed gochujang herb sauce.
