[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Barogo, a startup operating a last-mile logistics IT platform (CEO Lee Taekwon), announced on the 3rd that it presented certificates of appreciation and cash rewards to Hub Manager Lee Geon-il of Yangsan-dong Hub in Buk-gu, Gwangju, and three riders who apprehended a hit-and-run vehicle in a school zone on the 31st.


Hub Manager Lee Geon-il and the three riders chased a vehicle that hit a pedestrian and fled in a school zone in Buk-gu, Gwangju, for 1.2 km on the 23rd of last month, then caught the driver and handed him over to the police. The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station paid a reward to those who pursued and caught the hit-and-run vehicle and selected Hub Manager Lee Geon-il, who led the chase, as a 'Neighborhood Citizen Police.'


Lee Taekwon, CEO of Barogo, said, "The courageous actions of the hub manager and riders who chased the fleeing vehicle without hesitation despite the risks align with Barogo's core value of 'courageous action,' so we presented certificates of appreciation and cash rewards."
