[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Sung-yeol] Singer Jeon Young-rok revealed his daily life on an island village together with his same-age friend Lee Hong-ryul.

On the 29th broadcast of KBS1's '6 O'clock My Hometown,' Jeon Young-rok spent a day with comedian Lee Hong-ryul on Ssukseom (Aedo) in Goheung, Jeollanam-do.

Jeon Young-rok and Lee Hong-ryul were both born in 1954, making them 67 years old this year, and they have been friends for 50 years.

In the broadcast, Lee Hong-ryul visited Jeon Young-rok, who is living as a 'boarder in an island village' on Ssukseom. The two spent the day fishing with a cast net.

Lee Hong-ryul expressed his amazement at Jeon Young-rok's fishing skills, saying, "How did he write so many songs with such a stubborn mind?"

Later, while having dinner with the landlady of Jeon Young-rok's boarding house, Lee Hong-ryul asked, "Who is more handsome?" The landlady replied, "Both are handsome," and Lee Hong-ryul asked again, "Then if you were to adopt a son, who would you choose?"

When the landlady answered, "I want to choose both," Lee Hong-ryul asked once more, "Which one would you want to do the dishes?" To this, the landlady said, "I would have to do it," leaving Lee Hong-ryul embarrassed.

Before going to sleep, the two engaged in a competition of push-ups and other exercises. Jeon Young-rok expressed his friendship by saying, "Everything is fun when I'm with Lee Hong-ryul."
