On the same day, Mayor Chae received a briefing on the situation related to the novel coronavirus infection and visited the screening clinic, urging officials to make every effort to prepare measures to prevent the spread of the virus.

Also, on the morning of the 28th, Mayor Chae convened all department heads and held an "Emergency Countermeasure Meeting for the Novel Coronavirus Infection," requesting thorough close cooperation between departments and prompt response.

Since the 14th, a quarantine task force has been formed, working closely with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, maintaining a 24-hour emergency contact system.
