19 billion KRW of county funds were invested to improve the efficiency of road maintenance and enhance the working environment for employees.
The newly constructed road management office consists of a rest area (management building) for 16 staff members including drivers and road repair workers, a snow removal warehouse capable of storing 400 tons of calcium chloride and 2,400 tons of salt for road maintenance, and three garages for road management vehicles.
Additionally, various equipment such as hoists (cranes) and calcium chloride mixers were replaced with the latest models to increase the speed of road maintenance tasks like snow removal.
Yoo Gi-sang, the mayor of Gochang-gun, stated, “The construction of the new road management office has greatly improved the working environment for employees, and the convenient storage of various construction equipment and materials is expected to significantly enhance work efficiency.”
