[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 28th, Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, held an emergency disaster countermeasure meeting at the 'Disaster Safety Countermeasure Headquarters' established to prepare for the novel coronavirus, visiting health centers and medical institutions to inspect the emergency quarantine system.

Since the 21st, the district has formed the 'Seongdong-gu Emergency Quarantine Task Force' and has maintained a 24-hour emergency duty system. A screening clinic is operated on the first floor of the annex building of the health center, conducting emergency treatment and specimen collection to prepare for urgent situations.

On this day, Mayor Jung Won-oh presided over an emergency meeting attended by district executives, urging thorough emergency measures, and visited the health center and Hanyang University Hospital, a regional emergency medical center, emphasizing organic cooperation.

Mayor Jung Won-oh of Seongdong-gu said, "For blocking the inflow and preventing the spread of the coronavirus, organic cooperation and proactive response among the district, medical institutions, and residents are most important," adding, "We will do our best to overcome the crisis by mobilizing all available resources."
