'Gongjeong Beopryul Lounge' Opening Celebration
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Korean Film Council (Chairman Oh Seok-geun) will hold the 1st 'Legal Special Lecture for Filmmakers' event on the 30th at the CKL Enterprise Support Center to commemorate the opening of the Fair Law Lounge.
The Fair Environment Creation Center of the Korean Film Council has been operating the 'Fair Law Lounge' at its Seoul branch since last month to provide legal services to filmmakers and actively communicate with the film industry. The 'Fair Law Lounge,' a specialized legal space for films, offers on-site legal consultations and education to visiting filmmakers with resident lawyers.
The Seoul branch of the Fair Environment Creation Center prepared this event to celebrate the opening of the 'Fair Law Lounge.'
The event will be hosted by Lee Joo-hyun, a reporter from Cine21, and Choi Jae-won, newly appointed Korean Film Council commissioner and CEO of Warner Bros. Korea, will greet the filmmakers on behalf of Chairman Oh Seok-geun.
In the first special lecture, lawyer Hong Seung-ki (Dean of Inha University Law School) will introduce various film dispute cases ranging from documentaries to blockbusters.
In the second special lecture, lawyer Jang Seo-hee will legally analyze whether the consent of moral rights holders is necessary and provide response guidelines.
