[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] E-Land Retail is partnering with Hanwha DreamPlus to begin accepting applications for the 2nd batch of its retail startup incubation contest.
Selected companies in the 2nd contest will receive customized mentoring on all aspects of business, including finance, marketing, and public relations, directly from E-Land Retail’s industry experts in collaboration with DreamPlus, a startup incubation organization. Additional investments will be made based on the results of partnership projects.
Due to the success of the 1st contest, the scale of support for the 2nd batch has been expanded more than fivefold. Applications for the contest can be submitted online via the DreamPlus website from the 28th of this month until the 29th of next month.
The recruitment fields include retail tech (unmanned stores, last-mile delivery, voice commerce, customer preference collection and analysis, V-commerce, etc.), content business (all forms of content capable of creating value linked with online and offline stores), and new platforms (sharing economy, secondhand, new businesses based on e-commerce).
An E-Land Retail representative stated, "We will not stop at a simple contest but will build partnerships with recruited startups to foster continuous collaboration and mutual growth, aiming to expand the overall scale of the domestic retail industry and lead the global retail technology sector."
