[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] Broadcaster Jang Sungkyu, who appeared on JTBC's entertainment program 'Banguseok 1yeol,' reveals his feelings at the time of declaring himself a freelancer.

Jang Sungkyu will appear on the JTBC program 'Banguseok 1yeol,' airing on the 26th.

During the recording held before the broadcast, while talking about movies, Jang Sungkyu confessed his feelings at the time, saying, "There were many objections from those around me when I declared freelancing, so I wanted to do it even more."

Meanwhile, this episode covers director Yorgos Lanthimos's films 'The Lobster' and 'Killing of a Sacred Deer.' Broadcaster Oh Sangjin, who revealed himself as a fan of director Yorgos Lanthimos, and psychiatrist Professor Ha Ji-hyun, who analyzes the psychology of characters in the works, will appear.

During the 'Banguseok 1yeol' recording, MC Jung Jaehyung explained about the music in 'The Lobster' and 'Killing of a Sacred Deer,' saying, "The music used in scenes where characters transform into animals or moments of scene transitions induces tension and acts as a black comedy element."

Director Min Gyudong also added, "The music in both films was used textually beyond just background music."

He further explained, "'The Lobster' shows the film's theme through the dichotomous worlds of the hotel and the forest. Both worlds control love under totalitarian rules, delivering the message that 'oppression by coercion is not good.'"

In response, MC Jang Sungkyu said, "Usually, when people tell you not to do something, you want to do it even more," and confessed with a laugh, "When people around me discouraged me from declaring freelancing, I wanted to do it even more."

Meanwhile, JTBC's 'Banguseok 1yeol' will be broadcast at 11 a.m. on the same day.
