The Lunar New Year holiday, the largest traditional holiday in South Korea, began on the 24th of this month. Wireless vacuum cleaners that have suction power comparable to wired vacuum cleaners while blocking fine dust are a hot topic. In particular, the mop brush, with a rotation power of 300rpm, reaches wall corners and edges to achieve perfect cleaning.

LG Electronics’ ‘CordZero A9’ also features a dual turbo cyclone structure that creates a vortex when dust enters, separating dust and air by 99.6%, and a HEPA filter that blocks 99.999% of ultrafine dust emissions. LG Electronics states that the built-in smart inverter can even suction large foreign objects such as 100-won coins. Another feature is the ‘automatic water supply system.’ When water is filled in the water tank installed above the suction port, an electronic pump automatically supplies water evenly to the mop. Depending on the cleaning method or floor material, the water supply can be adjusted in three stages: stop, level 1, and level 2. Each battery allows up to 40 minutes of use, and with a spare battery, cleaning can last up to 80 minutes.

Induction cooktops are also gaining attention. Samsung induction cooktops are segmented into premium Chef Collection, Radiant, The Plate, and others. Samsung Electronics announced that customers who purchase induction cooktops with three or more burners will receive an extended free warranty period for key components through the Induction Premium Care service. Previously, the free warranty period for induction coils and cooktop surfaces was one year each, but it has been extended to 10 years and 3 years, respectively. The induction coil warranty applies to all 15 models with three or more burners, and the cooktop surface warranty applies to 9 recently released models among them. However, the free warranty period for parts other than the induction coil and cooktop surface remains one year as before.

Dishwashing is as challenging as cooking. Besides the ancestral rites table, when preparing and eating food with family, dirty dishes naturally pile up. The ‘LG DIOS Dishwasher Steam’ is praised for its tornado washing blades that spray 54 streams of water to thoroughly clean greasy, seasoned dishes and pots.
