Guidance on Returning to Farming and Rural Settlement Policies for Homebound Travelers and Urban Residents

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] On the 23rd, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it conducted promotional activities to attract urban residents to rural areas targeting homecoming travelers visiting their hometowns for the Lunar New Year at Gurye Public Bus Terminal and Gurye Station.

The county welcomed the homecoming travelers and handed out warm tea and promotional materials to urban visitors to Gurye, providing information on support policies for returning to farming and rural living.

In particular, emphasis was placed on promoting the stay-type Agricultural Startup Support Center, which will begin its 4th session this March. The stay-type center operates a 10-month educational program on agriculture and rural life to support urban residents who wish to start agricultural businesses in settling stably in rural areas.
