[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Hwang Gi-yeon, a resident of Dongdaemun-gu, visited Dongdaemun-gu Office (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) at 10 a.m. on the 23rd to donate 'Rice of Love' prepared to help neighbors in need ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

The donation ceremony was held in the mayor's office with Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol and Hwang Gi-yeon in attendance.

On this day, Hwang Gi-yeon donated 500 bags of 'Rice of Love' (10kg per bag, worth approximately 13 million KRW) prepared with sincerity.

The district plans to deliver the donated 'Rice of Love' to vulnerable groups in the community.

Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol of Dongdaemun-gu said, "We thank Hwang Gi-yeon for sharing warm hearts with neighbors through the Rice of Love," adding, "The donated rice will be a great gift to neighbors in need."
