According to Women Chosun on the 23rd, Jang’s mother expressed anger toward lawyer Kang in an interview on the 19th, saying, "Anyone who has parents in this world... Kang Yong-seok... if he is a human being, that is not normal..."

Also, although Jang’s mother trailed off due to the objections of her husband, composer Jang Wook-jo, her expression and tone reportedly conveyed a sense of regret.

Earlier, on the 18th, Gaseyeon used expressions that could be inferred to refer to Jang at a lecture held in Daegu, mentioning that "her romantic relationships before marriage were complicated."

In particular, former reporter Kim Yong-ho claimed, "I heard that (the person) dated a certain actress in the past and even lived together," and "that person boasted about the relationship with the actress to those around her," sparking controversy.

Additionally, on the 2nd, allegations arose that lawyer Kang’s wife, Ms. Yoon, introduced Kim Gun-mo and Jang and requested a luxury brand Hermes bag as a token of appreciation. Lawyer Kang explained, "My wife does not know Kim Gun-mo. She also does not know Jang."

However, one media outlet revealed text messages exchanged between Ms. Yoon and Jang, who are said to be close friends. The messages appeared to show Ms. Yoon introducing Kim Gun-mo to Jang and congratulating her on her marriage.

Regarding these allegations, Jang’s mother was unable to give a clear answer due to her husband’s opposition. She responded, "If these things hadn’t happened, we would all get along well..."
