Yoo Myung-hee, the Chief Negotiator of Trade at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, met with Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, at 8:40 AM local time on the 22nd at the Hard Rock Hotel in Davos, Switzerland, during the '2020 World Economic Forum (Davos Forum)'. They discussed plans for the successful hosting of the 12th World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference, 'MC12', and the promotion of a Korea-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

On the same day at 10 AM, Chief Negotiator Yoo also met with Ruhsar Pekcan, Minister of Trade of Turkey, at the Rixos Fluela Hotel in Davos. They discussed ways to expand trade and investment between the two countries, including the Korea-Turkey FTA.
