Daewon Broadcasting (CEO: Kwak Young-bin), which operates the animation specialty channels AniOne and AniBox, is launching the ‘Daewon Kids Voice Actor Group’ project to help children who dream of becoming voice actors realize their dreams.
For over 20 years, Daewon Broadcasting has dubbed and produced well-known domestic and international animations such as One Piece and Doraemon, earning strong trust from viewers with high-quality works. Last year, the company contributed to the domestic dubbing industry by producing not only the 10th generation of exclusive voice actors but also about 70 famous voice actors. Based on Daewon Broadcasting’s long-standing expertise, the newly introduced ‘Daewon Kids Voice Actor Group’ in 2020 is part of Daewon Broadcasting’s ‘Children’s Dream Realization Project’ and is expected to bring dreams and hope to many children aspiring to become voice actors.
Children selected for the ‘Daewon Kids Voice Actor Group 1st Generation’ will have the opportunity to dub the most popular animations on AniOne and AniBox. They will visit the dubbing sites of Daewon Broadcasting’s voice actors to observe the dubbing process firsthand, receive coaching from professional voice actors, and directly record the voices of main characters in animations. The animations recorded by the kids in the voice actor group will be broadcast on the AniOne and AniBox channels, and not only their voices but also footage of their dubbing performances will be aired, providing a great opportunity to appear on TV.
