[Express Train - Episode 51] Ray, a Technology-Focused X-ray Specialist Company

Founded in 2004, Ray developed digital X-ray imaging diagnostic equipment for dental use. They secured core technologies and quality competitiveness, completing certification and registration procedures by country. Ninety percent of their sales are generated overseas.

Based on digital X-ray imaging diagnostics, they succeeded in developing and commercializing digital X-ray imaging solutions for dental use. The dental X-ray imaging equipment consists of 3D imaging devices (CBCT), 2D imaging devices such as panoramic and cephalometric imaging, and intraoral sensors supporting localized imaging.

Patent attorney Eom Jeong-han from BLT Patent Law Firm reviewed Ray’s patent and trademark application status.

Listed companies on the domestic stock market disclose patent acquisition facts through the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system. However, many stock investors tend to overlook patent disclosures.

Not only patents but also trademark registrations indicate the future direction of listed companies, making them one of the important indicators for assessing future corporate value. Some patent disclosures even act as direct triggers for stock price increases.

It is not easy for general investors to understand the impact on companies through patent disclosures or to check trademark application statuses one by one. Asia Economy is reviewing the patent and trademark application status of listed companies together with patent attorney Eom Jeong-han from BLT Patent Law Firm through the 'Special Express Train.'

The Special Express Train is an abbreviation for a broadcast that diligently searches for stocks surging due to patents.
