On the 21st, according to major local media including China Central Television, the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission in Hubei Province announced that the number of deaths from Wuhan pneumonia has risen from four to six.
The National Health Commission of China also reported that the number of patients infected with pneumonia suspected to be Wuhan pneumonia increased by 77 from the previous day, reaching 291. This means the number of confirmed cases is nearing 300.
