[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Yongchul] Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong County, announced on the 21st that he visited underprivileged neighbors and social welfare facilities in the area to carry out consolation activities ahead of the national holiday Seollal on the 20th.

During this consolation event, Boseong County delivered consolation goods worth 37 million won to a total of 1,558 vulnerable households in the area, sharing warm affection.

Governor Kim also started by visiting the ‘Boseong County Happy Senior Specialized Nursing Home’ located in Boknae-myeon, then visited four social welfare facilities to share warmth with the elderly residents and encourage the facility workers.

A county official said, “As the Seollal holiday approaches, donations of food and daily necessities such as pork, beef, blankets, and ramen continue from various sectors,” adding, “The county will also spare no active interest and support in spreading the culture of sharing in the local community.”
