Hyosung Shares Warmth of Love for Seol Holiday

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyosung shared warmth of love with neighbors in need for the Lunar New Year holiday.

On the 21st, Hyosung Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. delivered a donation for the Lunar New Year and funds to purchase custom inner seats for wheelchairs to Yeongnak Ania’s House, a care facility for children with severe disabilities located in Huam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

The wheelchair inner seat is a consumable item that requires custom production and periodic replacement for children with varying disability symptoms and developmental levels. Accordingly, Hyosung Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. has been donating funds to purchase wheelchair inner seats for Yeongnak Ania’s House every year since 2017.

The beautiful relationship between Hyosung Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and Yeongnak Ania’s House began in 2012 with the proposal of President Cho Hyun-sang to “provide practical help where help is needed.” Since then, Hyosung Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. has been conducting monthly meal volunteer work for Yeongnak Ania’s House employees and delivering donations and daily necessities during holidays.

Meanwhile, on the same day, Hyosung sponsored 10 million KRW at the ‘2020 Sharing Love Rice Cake Soup’ event held at Ewha Girls’ High School gymnasium, hosted by the nonprofit organization Sarangui Chingudeul, and prepared and delivered baskets containing rice cake soup ingredients so that neighbors in need could enjoy warm rice cake soup on Lunar New Year morning.
