Lotte Chemical Participates in KBIS 2020, the Largest Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in the US

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Lotte Chemical announced that it will participate in 'KBIS 2020 (The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show 2020)' held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 21st (local time) to the 23rd.

KBIS is the largest kitchen and bathroom industry exhibition in the United States, with over 2,500 companies from around the world participating annually and more than 120,000 visitors attending. It is an exhibition where global trends in artificial marble and engineered stone products can be viewed at a glance.

Lotte Chemical's Advanced Materials Business produces construction and interior materials such as artificial marble and engineered stone, and participated in KBIS under the Lotte brand in 2017 and 2018. KBIS 2020 is the first building materials product exhibition under the name of Lotte Chemical after the integration of Lotte Chemical and Lotte Advanced Materials.

Through this exhibition, Lotte Chemical plans to showcase a variety of product lineups including the premium engineered stone brand 'Radianz.' 'Radianz' will focus on products from the Yeosu plant developed with Breton's stone processing equipment and in-house technology, as well as products produced at the Belenco plant in Turkey. In March 2019, Lotte Chemical acquired a 72.5% stake in Belenco, the number one engineered stone market share company in Turkey.

Additionally, Lotte Chemical will present high value-added and functional lineups of the artificial marble brand 'Staron' products and officially launch the ceramic material brand 'Locelain,' made from 100% natural mineral raw materials.

Lee Young-jun, head of Lotte Chemical's Advanced Materials Business, stated, "The Americas region shows high growth potential in the premium interior materials sector," and added, "We plan to actively target the American market with differentiated high value-added products that satisfy both design and functionality."

Since the integration with Lotte Advanced Materials on January 1 this year, Lotte Chemical plans to strengthen its portfolio by enhancing the specialty business focused on high value-added products from the previous general-purpose product-centered business, while establishing an integrated production and management system from raw materials to final products to further enhance market competitiveness.
