[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] ○…'Golf Queen' Park In-bi (32) has risen to 'Number 14.'


In the weekly women's golf world rankings announced on the morning of the 21st (Korean time), she earned 4.20 points, climbing two spots from 16th place last week. She accumulated points by finishing tied for 2nd place at the Diamond Resort Tournament, the opening event of the 2020 LPGA Tour, which concluded the previous day at the Four Seasons Golf & Sports Club in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA. Although she narrowly missed her 20th career win, this is her best result since tying for 2nd at the Arkansas Championship last July.


Ko Jin-young (25) continued her 26-week streak at No. 1 with 8.99 points. Park Sung-hyun (27) remained 2nd with 6.38 points, Nelly Korda (USA) 3rd with 6.19 points, and Danielle Kang (USA) 4th with 5.48 points, with no changes in the top ranks. Hana Takaoka Nasa (Japan), who tied for 2nd at the Diamond Resort, rose one spot to 5th with 5.42 points. South Korea's Kim Se-young (27) is 6th with 5.37 points, Lee Jeong-eun 6 (24) 7th with 5.24 points, and Kim Hyo-joo (25) is 12th with 4.29 points. The opening event champion Gaby Lopez (Mexico) jumped 12 spots to 44th with 2.14 points.
