[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Lee Yong-bin, the Democratic Party of Korea's preliminary candidate for Gwangsan-gu Gap, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will hold an opening ceremony for his election office at 4 p.m. on the 1st of next month.
The opening ceremony, held from 10 a.m. at 'Lee Yong-bin's Welcome Camp,' will be attended by former and current members of the National Assembly, local councilors, opinion leaders, party members, and supporters from various sectors of society to strengthen the 'Lee Yong-bin momentum theory.'
Before the election office opening ceremony at 4 p.m., candidate Lee Yong-bin will welcome supporters from 10 a.m., explaining what Lee Yong-bin's 'upright politics' means and his policy 'Hwangryonggang Era Declaration,' and will participate in photo sessions.
In particular, the election office opening ceremony plans to move away from the traditional rigid, MC-centered format to create a place of unity and victory where all supporters participate, aiming to bring out 'real politics that change my life' and show who the 'qualified real worker of Gwangsan' is.
Candidate Lee Yong-bin said, "You can understand (evaluate) a politician by looking back on the life they have lived," adding, "The April 15 general election is an election to select the true Democratic Party candidate with qualifications and loyalty who will restore Gwangju's pride and to cut out the deep-rooted corrupt politics that trample on Gwangju's pride."
He continued, "The first leap of the 'Hwangryonggang Renaissance Era,' the Gwangsan-type Green New Deal City (GET-CITY) Gwangsan Declaration, will establish the foundation for the future economy of Gwangju and Honam, resolve the dual hardships of economic recession and climate crisis, and become a new paradigm that promotes the Fourth Industrial Revolution and regional growth," he emphasized.
