Recruitment for 2020 Gwangjin SNS Reporters

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting SNS reporters to promote Gwangjin-gu in 2020 from January 20 to February 3.

The Gwangjin SNS Reporter Group is promoted to share, communicate, and publicize district news experienced and viewed from the perspective of residents on SNS, aiming to enhance a friendly and warm image of the district.

The target applicants are about 25 residents of Gwangjin-gu aged 19 or older who operate personal SNS or blogs and can submit articles including text and photos at least once a month.

Main activities include ▲ on-site coverage of major district events and community events ▲ writing resident interviews ▲ participating in programs for residents and writing reviews ▲ sharing useful lifestyle information promoted by the district on SNS, etc.

Selected SNS reporters will receive a letter of appointment and a press ID, and outstanding reporters may be recommended for regular resident commendations. Also, about 10 excellent articles will be selected monthly, and a manuscript fee of 30,000 KRW per article will be paid.

Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the Gwangjin-gu website or SNS (Gwangjin-gu Office official blog), filling it out, and sending it via email (blossom92@gwangjin.go.kr).

Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “It is meaningful that residents who are closest to the district news deliver useful information and joyful news from their daily lives,” and added, “As the 5G era arrives and the times rapidly change, I hope the reporter group will widely spread the changed image of Gwangjin.”
