[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Young-gyun] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 20th that it will implement a 'Comprehensive Plan for the Lunar New Year Holiday' starting from the 24th.
The county has established measures in 12 areas including disaster and accident prevention, local price stabilization and fuel supply, AI livestock quarantine, pleasant living environment, wildfire prevention, emergency medical care, water supply, and establishment of public service discipline.
From the 24th to the 27th, a comprehensive situation room and task force covering 12 fields with 2 teams will be operated, with a total of 133 personnel on emergency duty to prepare for various disasters and safety accidents, ensuring that residents can spend a comfortable holiday.
The main disaster and safety measures include pre-inspection to prevent black ice accidents in habitual freezing sections, and the establishment and operation of a snow removal work system.
Additionally, wildfire prevention publicity will be conducted during the holiday period, and a specialized firefighting team consisting of 120 members in 3 squads will be established and operated.
Along with this, the county plans to deliver consolation goods such as daily necessities and rice, as well as consolation money, to 1,365 neighbors in need and 20 social welfare facilities for a warm Lunar New Year holiday.
A county official stated, “Through this comprehensive plan, we will do our best to ensure that residents and returning visitors have a comfortable and enjoyable Lunar New Year holiday.”
