Lee Dae-hoon, President of NongHyup Bank, Visits SMEs Facing Financial Difficulties... Strengthening 'On-site Management'

[Asia Economy Reporter Haeyoung Kwon] Lee Dae-hoon, President of NH Nonghyup Bank, has embarked on on-site management efforts to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by personally visiting companies and meeting with their CEOs to provide financial assistance amid funding difficulties.

On the 17th, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, President Lee visited Gukje Rare Earth Metals located in the Cheonbuk Industrial Complex in Gyeongju. He expressed gratitude for the mutual growth achieved through the main banking relationship with Nonghyup Bank and listened to the difficulties faced by SMEs on site.

Gukje Rare Earth Metals manufactures carbon tubes, stainless steel tubes, and other material components for heat exchange equipment. It is a manufacturing SME certified as a technology-innovative small business by the Innobiz Association, an exclusive partner of Nonghyup Bank, and holds patents related to rare earth metals.

President Lee stated, "We will prepare support measures that can provide practical help to SMEs by reflecting the difficulties heard directly from companies on site."

Nonghyup Bank will provide 8 trillion KRW in special Lunar New Year funds to support SMEs and small business owners who experience increased demand for working capital and other funds around the holiday period. The support period extends until the 10th of next month, targeting SMEs and small business owners who have loan maturities or require new funds during this period. Interest rate benefits of up to 1.5% will be offered.
