[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 18th, the Alternative New Party announced that it would "file a lawsuit requesting the dissolution of the party" in response to the Preparatory Committee for the Creation of the Proportional Liberty Korea Party, a satellite party for proportional representation of the Liberty Korea Party, changing its name to the Preparatory Committee for the Creation of the Future Korea Party and registering it with the Central Election Commission.

Kim Jeong-hyun, spokesperson for the Alternative New Party, said in a statement on the same day, "It is absurd that the Proportional Liberty Korea Party, after being disallowed, comes out with another party name," adding, "It is like insisting on retaking an exam that was already failed once."

Spokesperson Kim pointed out, "Trying to deceive the public to gain votes is never the right attitude," and criticized, "It is outrageous that the party led by Hwang Kyo-ahn, who served as Minister of Justice, Prime Minister, and even Acting President, is carrying out such illegal and irregular tactics without any hesitation."

Spokesperson Kim warned, "If the Liberty Korea Party insists on establishing a disguised party that violates the principles of democracy, we will take all legal measures, including filing a lawsuit requesting the dissolution of the party at the Constitutional Court, and mobilize all means to neutralize it."
