Jeongeup-si Promotes 'On-site Communication Administration' Program

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City, Jeollabuk-do announced on the 17th that it will promote the ‘2020 On-site Communication Administration’ to realize an era of citizen happiness and Jeongeup prosperity.

The ‘On-site Communication Administration’ is held every Friday at the Second Government Building and the Health Center to share major pending projects and city administration operations, and to seek solutions for future directions.

In addition, through on-site administration that directly communicates with not only external government building employees but also citizens, it plans to enhance administrative efficiency and activate communication.

In this regard, starting with the Agricultural Technology Center on the day, Mayor Yoo Jinseop, heads of each department, and team leaders attended a major pending business briefing session.

At the briefing, in-depth discussions were held on the establishment of a system-type family practice farm, the status of complaints regarding multi-family housing, the construction of an eco-friendly rice traditional folk liquor manufacturing and experience center, implementation of measures to reduce livestock odor, operation of a special exhibition for the Lunar New Year at the Danpungmiin Shopping Mall, and the installation of an agricultural product hazard analysis center.

Mayor Yoo Jinseop said, “To build a future agriculture foundation where everyone prospers together and to create a vibrant rural environment, please always be active on-site and listen carefully to the voices of farmers and citizens.”
