[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] SM C&C announced that its exclusive contract with broadcaster Oh Jung-yeon will be terminated.

On the morning of the 15th, SM C&C stated, "The exclusive management contract between SM C&C and Oh Jung-yeon will end this coming February."

They added, "After serious discussions with the artist regarding future directions, we have agreed to terminate the management duties," and "Although the management will end, our company will continue to maintain a good working partnership and cooperative relationship with Oh Jung-yeon."

SM C&C also expressed, "We would like to thank many people who cherish Oh Jung-yeon and ask for your continued interest and love."

Oh Jung-yeon debuted as a KBS announcer from the 32nd class in 2006 but submitted her resignation to KBS in 2015 and declared herself a freelancer.

Recently, she has been active as a DJ for the EBS radio program 'Idols Meet Literature' and has been appearing on various entertainment shows, continuing her active career.
