Hyundai Card, Up to 50% Discount on Lunar New Year Gift Sets

Until the 31st of this month, enjoy 2-3 months interest-free installments on purchases over 50,000 won at all franchise stores

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Hyundai Card announced on the 17th that it will offer abundant benefits such as discounts on Lunar New Year gift sets and gift certificate giveaways in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.

First, various online and offline events have been prepared to help customers prepare holiday gifts economically. When paying with Hyundai Card at Lotte Mart (until 1/27), Lotte Super (until 1/25), and Mega Mart (until 1/25), designated Lunar New Year gift sets are discounted up to 40%, and at Homeplus (until 1/26) and GS Supermarket (until 1/28), discounts of up to 30% are offered. Additionally, gift certificates are given based on the payment amount. At Hyundai Department Store (until 1/24), customers who purchase food gift sets worth 200,000 KRW or 400,000 KRW or more will receive gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW or 20,000 KRW, respectively.

At Emart Everyday (until 1/26), customers can get up to 50% discount on promotional products and receive Shinsegae gift certificates depending on the payment amount. Also, when purchasing the Dadaikseon set, one additional set is given for free. At Jeonggwanjang, popular for holiday gift purchases, customers paying 200,000 KRW or more with Hyundai Card from the 20th to the 24th can use 50% M Points (up to 100,000 M Points per transaction).

There are also discount events held at online shopping malls and home shopping channels. At 11st, until the 21st, customers can receive an 11% discount coupon (up to 5,000 KRW) when paying 5,000 KRW or more during the Lunar New Year special promotion. At The Hyundai.com, from the 28th to the 30th, customers paying 50,000 KRW or more can enjoy a 5% discount (limited to 100,000 KRW per day, once per customer), and at SSG.COM, on the 20th and 21st, customers paying 70,000 KRW or more can get a 5% discount on promotional products (limited to 50,000 KRW per day, once per customer). On Naver Pay, customers paying with Naver Pay on the 24th will receive a 5% discount (limited to 2,000 KRW per day, once per customer).

On Hyundai Home Shopping mobile, on the 23rd, 26th, and 28th, customers paying 60,000 KRW or more with Hyundai Card will receive a 5% discount on the payment amount (limited to 200,000 KRW per day, per person). CJ O Shopping mobile offers a 5% discount without limit when paying 50,000 KRW or more from the 23rd to 25th and from the 30th to 31st. GS SHOP, NS Home Shopping, Shinsegae TV Home Shopping, and SK Stoa also provide a 5% discount on payments of 50,000 KRW or more on designated dates in January (limited to 200,000 KRW per day, per person; NS Home Shopping has no limit).

Hyundai Card has also prepared events for customers planning trips with family, friends, and relatives. Customers who pay with Hyundai Card at Hana Tour, Interpark Tour, Modetour, Online Tour, and Norang Balloon can purchase overseas airline tickets up to 15% cheaper on promotional routes until the 31st of this month. Every Thursday in January, at Lotte Internet Duty-Free Shop, half of the payment amount can be paid with M Points (10% M Points usage on other days), and on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, up to 8% instant discount coupons are also given. At Shinsegae Internet Duty-Free Shop, discount coupons up to 120,000 KRW are provided depending on the payment amount, and 10% M Points usage is available when paying 150,000 KRW.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Card offers interest-free installment plans for 2 to 3 months (up to 6 months for department stores and online shopping malls) for payments of 50,000 KRW or more at all affiliated stores until the 31st of this month.
