The Dongnam Villa Reconstruction Project Briefing Session Successfully Held on January 12

The ‘Maetan-dong Dongnam Villa Reconstruction Promotion Preparation Committee’ in the Maetan-dong area of Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, successfully held a reconstruction project briefing session at Suwon City Hall on the 12th. This briefing session focused on the reconstruction method of Dongnam Villa and was organized by the law firm Gowon.

The briefing session, held at 2 PM on the 12th in the main auditorium of Suwon City Hall, was attended by many industry stakeholders including the law firm Gowon, Mugunghwa Trust, Meritz Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, and Samji Accounting Corporation.

An expert stated, “It is unusual to see so many industry stakeholders attending a briefing session for a reconstruction project still in the preparation stage,” adding, “This indicates a positive outlook on the reconstruction of Dongnam Villa despite the fact that the establishment of the association has not yet been approved,” reflecting the industry’s favorable response.

Additionally, a participant at the briefing said, “I was quite worried recently due to real estate policies and reconstruction regulations. However, after hearing about the fast-track approach to the Dongnam Villa reconstruction at this session, I am very hopeful.”

Dongnam Villa is located such that using the nearby underpass allows travel to Gwanggyo Jungang Station within 10 minutes by car. It is expected to benefit greatly as a transportation hub in the Suwon area and is conveniently situated near the future Shinbundang Line’s Ajou University Samgeori Station subway station. The station is about a 6-minute walk away, and express buses to Seoul from the old courthouse intersection are within a 5-minute walk.

Moreover, the district office and community center are within a 5-minute drive, and large supermarkets, major hospitals (Ajou University Hospital, Dong Suwon Hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital, etc.), department stores, Sannam Elementary School, Hyowon High School, and Ajou University are nearby, providing an excellent educational environment.

Meanwhile, the Dongnam Villa Reconstruction Preparation Committee announced that documents related to consent forms will be sent by mail regarding future schedules.
