[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] The cast members of SBS variety show 'Burning Youth' mentioned singer Park Hye-seong, drawing viewers' attention.
On the 14th episode of 'Burning Youth,' actor Choi Seong-guk asked singer Kim Seung-jin, "Was the rivalry talk with Park Hye-seong back in '89?" Kim Seung-jin replied, "It was in '88. We sang together during the Olympics."
When actor Choi Min-yong asked, "Were the two rivals?" Kim Seung-jin recalled, "We were the same age. Also, I sang 'Seujan' and Park Hye-seong sang 'Gyeong-a,' so people kept pairing us up."
In response, singer Lee Jae-young reminisced about having met senior Park Hye-seong twice in the past.
Hearing this, singer Yang Soo-kyung said, "(Park) Hye-seong is someone who rarely goes outside, so how did you meet him?" Lee Jae-young said, "During my first album, I received a song called 'Don't Forget Me' from senior Hye-seong. It was the first time I visited a celebrity's house."
Also, when Lee Jae-young mentioned meeting Park Hye-seong recently, actor Kim Kwang-gyu subtly asked, "Didn't we watch the show where we look for new friends?"
Lee Jae-young replied, "He didn't watch the show himself, but people around him said he appeared, so he said he watched it. I told him I was waiting for him a lot."
Meanwhile, Park Hye-seong debuted as an advertising model in 1984. He is active as a singer, record producer, and producer of film music and OSTs.
