[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Western Power's Laos local subsidiary (KLIC) and the 39th World Friends Youth Volunteer Group Laos A Team held an equipment donation event to improve the educational environment at Sanok Elementary School in Luang Prabang, Laos, on the 10th, the 13th reported.
The World Friends Youth Volunteer Group is an organization that organizes and implements volunteer activities for university students both domestically and abroad. The 39th Laos A Team conducted tree planting and experiential education for elementary students as part of supporting underprivileged groups, followed by a sponsorship event with Western Power.
Jeon Gwangseop, the leader of the 39th Laos A Team, expressed gratitude to Western Power for supporting educational equipment, emphasizing that careful attention and support for children studying under poor educational conditions must continue.
KLIC is a subsidiary established locally to operate and maintain the Sepian-Senamnoi Hydroelectric Power Plant, scheduled for completion in March.
KLIC stated that it plans to continue various efforts to become a company more loved by local residents in Laos through ongoing support and cooperation.
