[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kim Sung-sik, a member of the Bareunmirae Party, criticized the prosecution personnel reshuffle carried out by Justice Minister Chu Mi-ae on the 9th, saying, "It was a sweeping prosecution personnel reshuffle done last night," and asked, "Do you really think this will help this administration?"

On the same day, Kim said on Facebook, "What would the current ruling party say if they were the opposition party?" and added, "Would they say that public officials must obey personnel decisions? Isn't this wording more fitting for the past Minjung Party?"

He pointed out, "When President Moon Jae-in appointed Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl in an unprecedented manner, he praised him as 'our Yoon Seok-youl' and urged him to conduct strict investigations even against the living power," and asked, "Then what is happening now? Are they telling him to stop investigating now?"

He continued, "When the Park Geun-hye administration tried to 'push out Yoon Seok-youl,' former Justice Minister Cho Kuk tweeted in October 2013, 'They cut off any prosecutor who properly investigates. Now I understand what they are afraid of!' So what is different now?"

Kim said, "What crime have the people committed that they have to watch the bloody confrontation between the Blue House and the prosecution with a bewildered heart?" and added, "Do the President and the Democratic Party really think that the public will follow them if they reveal the naked truth of this power struggle without any self-reflection and justify themselves? Are they governing the country or campaigning?"
