[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] On the 8th at 3:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, visited Sanggye Jungang Market (Sanggye-ro 27-gil 32) on site.

Sanggye Jungang Market was registered as a market in August 2010, consisting of 78 stores, and the Merchants' Association includes 74 members led by Chairman Kwon Seok-geun.

This visit was arranged to greet the merchants for the New Year 2020 and to identify any inconveniences experienced by the merchants.

The merchants conveyed to Mayor Oh Seung-rok issues such as mediation of coexistence agreements between building owners and tenant merchants, time-based vehicle traffic bans on market roads, and changes to the stop lines and traffic signal systems on the one-way street at the market entrance.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, said, "This visit allowed me to better understand the merchants' feelings," and added, "I will do my best to create conditions where they can conduct business comfortably."
