On the 8th, Lee Yeon-soo, who was called a high-teen star of the 1980s, appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star'.


On the broadcast, Lee Yeon-soo said, "I used to run a cafe, and a fan came like a benefactor. He invited me and my mother to Las Vegas."


She continued, "I played slot machines in Las Vegas. I chose by intuition, and I won $80,000, $30,000, and so on," adding, "It was during the IMF crisis, and I earned foreign currency. It was over 100 million won," which surprised many.


Afterwards, shaman Jeong Ho-geun said about Lee Yeon-soo, "She currently holds a strong fortune in her hands. She is much more determined than she looks. It seems like she can't do it, but she does well," and "She will get a big drama role this year," attracting attention.


Lee Yeon-soo also revealed the reason why she disappeared after stopping her entertainment activities in 1993. She said, "I started working in the entertainment industry when I was very young, so I worked a lot. After working a lot, I got mentally exhausted and thought, 'Maybe the entertainment industry doesn't suit me.'"


She added, "Many of my peers debuted, but I couldn't step forward confidently among them. I kept falling behind," explaining her psychological exhaustion at the time.


Lee Yeon-soo also shared her experience of quitting the entertainment industry and going to study abroad in Seattle. She said, "At that time, a modeling agency in Seattle scouted me. It was a good opportunity, but I had a serious traffic accident," evoking sympathy.


Meanwhile, Lee Yeon-soo debuted in 1980 as part of the 'MBC Children's Choir.' Afterwards, she appeared consecutively in MBC dramas such as 'Tiger Teacher,' 'Walking to the Sky,' and 'Sad Love Song,' earning the nickname 'MBC's Daughter.'
