LoL announced the 'January 8 server maintenance and update' through an official notice on its website the previous day (7th).
According to the notice, the server maintenance and update will take about 5 hours, from 6 AM to 11 AM. It is known that game server stabilization and patch 10.1 will be applied.
During the maintenance period, game access, the mobile store, and parts of the website will be unavailable.
Looking at the servers where the update patch has been pre-applied, with this 10.1 patch, Aphelios' Flame Cannon, Mordekaiser, Aurelion Sol, and Kassadin will receive nerfs to damage and movement speed.
Additionally, Sylas, Azir, Corki, Jayce, Jax, Kalista, Nami, Sejuani, Shyvana, Varus, Vi, and Zyra are scheduled for buffs, with changes to damage, passives, and slows.
There will also be changes to support items and the rune 'Prototype: Omnistone.'
Meanwhile, the preseason will conclude, and LoL Season 20 is scheduled to start on the 10th.
