Yoo Junsang Reveals Story Behind Creating Girl Group 'Taurin' Composed of Musical Actors

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Suwan] Actor Yoo Junsang revealed that he produced a girl group composed of musical actors, drawing the attention of netizens.

On the 5th, Yoo Junsang appeared as a special MC on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' and shared various stories.

On that day, MC Shin Dongyeop asked Yoo Junsang, "I heard you produced a girl group."

In response, Yoo Junsang said, "That's right. The group's name is Taurine. Actor Oh Manseok gave the name. While drunk, he said, 'Your group's name is Taurine.'"

He then explained the reason for producing the girl group, saying, "These friends always practice hard and are really pretty," and added, "They are well-known in the musical world, but I wanted more people to recognize them."

Hearing this, Shin Dongyeop joked, "If the group does well, other groups might come out too. 'Omega 3' or 'Glucosamine' could also appear," causing laughter around.

Next, Yoo Junsang revealed Taurine's song 'Wish List,' which he personally made. The cast praised the song, saying, "The song is good."

Meanwhile, Yoo Junsang is 52 years old this year and debuted in 1995 as part of SBS's 5th public talent recruitment. Since then, he has appeared in dramas such as 'Kkachine,' 'Life is Beautiful,' 'Eosa Park Munsu,' 'Toji,' 'You Who Rolled In Like a Vine,' and 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine,' gaining recognition. Currently, he continues his acting career in various fields including dramas, movies, and musicals.
